The non-profit, all volunteer Central Music Festival Society presents a family-oriented weekend of outdoor entertainment and activities on August 16, 17 and 18, 2013 in a beautiful natural amphitheater just a few miles north of Red Deer. The society also hosts live music events throughout the year, in support of the annual festival.

Central Music Festival features a wide range of musical styles performed by the finest local, regional, national, and international musicians available. Attendees also enjoy a variety of food and beverages on site, and can browse through the wares and information in booths hosted by local businesses and organizations.

Children aged 12 and under who are accompanied by a responsible adult are admitted free, and there are discounted ticket prices for seniors and students. The Kids Korner features children’s entertainment and activities geared to their interests.

A successful annual Festival enriches the regional cultural scene, stimulates the local economy, and enhances Central Alberta’s reputation as a tourist destination. It is also a lot of fun!
